The front shape of the REDPOWER piston head has been designed to further reduce stresses due to the impact with the PAD of the cylinder head even at more higher R.O.Fs.. The REDPOWER piston head has the double O-RING of sealing/stabilization to avoid contact with the cylinder internal surface. The total height of the TopMax piston head is standardized to the size of the other piston heads on the market. The ERGAL and DELRIN insert for fixing the piston head on the piston is slightly shorter than the standard market size, so you can use the TopMax piston head on any piston on the market.
The REDPOWER piston head, during compression phase, takes advantage of the Venturi principle, generating a more homogeneous compression of the O-RING for any configuration in which its installed. The compression chamber is sized to allow an optimal compression opening time of the O-RING and prevent to get too much more power being delivered in FULL AUTO mode than necessary, creating wheelies of the bbs trajectory.
It can be used into any configuration, from low-R.O.Fs. to high-R.O.Fs., but we recommend using the REDPOWER piston head on R.O.Fs. configurations higher than 25bb/s, to take advantage of early compression that comes from the position of the anti-vacuum holes. The stress-tests on the REDPOWER piston head were performed with a more powerful springs than those required by italian law, so the product will guarantee reliability and performance even with more advanced configurations. For maximum performance, we recommend pairing the piston head with the TopMax piston and cylinder head.
