To complete the shimming phase, you will need to just insert compensating shims on the top-side plate of the GearBox. Thanks to the rise made on the 3 lower-side plate bushings, the gear shafts will have a greater bearing surface on which to rotate, effectively improving the useful life of the gears and bushings seats (fundamental feature for all AEGs equipped with recoil systems or very hard springs).

- SHS (and clones), G&G, VFC and Prometheus gear-sets.
- G&G, VFC, Lonex, LCT, E&L, G&P, King Arms and various Low-Costs GearBoxes (we STRONGLY RECOMMEND to bore the bushings seats before installing the A.L.P.H.A. EVO! kit or our standard bushings, to clean and prepare the bushings seats perfectly) of V2, V3 and compatible type. For Krytac and G&G G2H GearBoxes is mandatory to bore the bushings seats in order to install aftermarket bushings or gear-sets.

NOT compatible with:
- Standard Low-Costs gear-sets.
To mount the TopMax bushings we recommend the use our specific fixing glue TMCLLB, or Loctite 496, and we STRONGLY ADVISE TO NOT force in place the bushings or use other ploys (see thermal expansion processes and similar), to avoid damage/breaks to the GearBox. Compatible with GearBox of mid/high-cost replicas such as VFC, G&G, ICS and similar.
